Metropolitan and Intercity Connectivity

Through the use of MAN services, Global Electronic Solutions LTD allows its customers to expand their network across the country. Regardless of the nature of the services, they can be transported to every address, if there is a technical possibility to do so.

The network is based on fiber optic L2 Ethernet infrastructure. In order to ensure redundant and 100% guaranteed capacity for the network core, ring topology is used. Access to the network is gained through a MAN port, while the individual addresses (MAN ports) are connected via VLAN-id.

/1/ Metropolitan Ethernet connectivity – this is connection between two or more MAN ports, located within one and the same locality.

/2/ Intercity Ethernet connectivity – this is connection between two MAN ports, located within different localities.
